A straightforward message and an exciting, heart pumping sound is hard to find in today's music. Solidroots, however,
brings both elements to the table. The South-Florida based rock band started playing covers for their friends, and soon, their
own style and creativity surfaced in their practices and jam sessions. Writing their own songs was the next step, so they
began. Members of the band were committed to this project and defined their message as a positive statement to a young
generation who is like a tree that needs to grow on solid roots, hence the name. Few lineup changes were made during the
band's maturing journey. However, their passion and main elements of their music remained the same.
Performing at different venues, private parties, and even at special events overseas helped refine their live shows to a
musical synergy with their audience; full of energy and full of passion, Solidroots delivers. Their set list consists of their
original songs for the most part and a couple of covers to get the crowd going. On stage, the band gets off the leash and
makes you bring your fist up in the air, dance, and bounce and chant every chorus.
The group's musical style is categorized mainly as modern rock music, yet you can listen the influences of punk, urban pop,
hip hop, alternative rock, alternative metal, reggae, and even a little r&b. Solidroots takes you to an emotional and spiritual
journey that goes from an explosive, pumped up rock anthem to a more personal, down-to-earth song. While listening to
their music, you can get inspired to declare war and fight against your internal foes, or get encouraged not to live life alone.
Solidroots isn't your typical rock band; it is a life changing experience. |

| Robert |
Robert is one of the lead singers. He loves energy and passion when performing. His musical influences are DC Talk, Linkin Park, Toby Mac, Audio Adrenaline, GNR, and U2. His favorite movie is Gladiator; he also loves the Godfather, Starwars, and Lord of the Ring trilogies, Passion of the Christ, Life is beautiful, Matrix, and Gran Torino.
He enjoyed reading "JesusFreaks: Martyrs: Stories of Those Who Stood for Jesus." About this book, he says: "It made me realize that the things I used to call "sacrifice" for the cause of my faith are not real sacrifices, and that I can't be ashamed of believing in Jesus. If he has the chance to travel in time, he would go back to the 1950's, post WWII because many changes began in the culture and music. When asked how he would like to be remembered, he answered: "As a good father, husband, and friend." The best advice he says he has been given is "Don't worry, God is in control." Before a show he likes to stay close to his band-mates and after a show he loves to hang out with friends and eat out.

| Lili |
| |
Lili is one the lead singers of the band, influenced by vocal performances such as Celine Dion, Mariah Carey, Christina Aguilera. She's also been influenced by worship music from Hillsong, Casting crown, Marcos Barrientos, and Marcos Witt. Lili likes to warm up her voice before a show; and when the show is over, she likes to discuss with the band about the performance and share ideas for next concert. She loves reading the Bible, mainly the book of Psalms because it deals with such subjects as God and His creation, war, worship, wisdom, sin and evil, judgment, justice, and the coming of the Messiah. But mainly love the worship subject.
Her favorite movie is The Passion of Christ, she says, "I am absolutely amazed at how wonderfully well this movie was directed. This movie shows the true pain Jesus suffered for us in order to save us from our sin. It sticks to the bible completely and gives the reality of how much cruelty He endured for us and because of that sacrifice we have eternal life." She'd like to be remembered as someone who showed God's love. Her life's motto is to keep God first in her life as a whole. |

| Renzo |
Renzo is the guitar player; His musical influences are Daft Punk, Juice Crew, West Borland, Noodle, Slash, Robbie Williams, Toby Mac, and Brad Delson. He believes all of them brought to the table a new sound, not style of music, but a sound in the music world. Before a show, he likes to make sure everything on stage is in perfect conditions, his guitar effects, sound, and everyone's instrument.
His favorite movie is "The Pursue of Happiness." He likes it because it has all the right elements for someone to never give up. He says: "In today's world one of the most common problems in the population is hopelessness, no one really believes or trust…..it is why this movie sets the right standards and the perfect example for us to believe and trust again." His life motto is "never give up."
Also, he loves the story of Wladyslaw Szpilman, who was a Jewish-Polish pianist, composer, and memoirist who survive during the holocaust leaving remembrances that will evoke forever. He'd like to travel to the future, to the year 2100 to be exact. "I'm very curious for what's ahead of us, nowadays everything changes so fast that there isn't time to even enjoy the present……and a place could be anywhere. When he dies he wants to be remembered as a person whose passion and beliefs were always in accord with God.
